유튜버 라이브 아카데미 빨모쌤 조언대로 영어 일기 쓰기

라이브 아카데미의 유튜버 빨모쌤이 라이브 방송을 하고 있네요~ 이거 보면서 작성해 두었던 영어 일기를 읽으며 후기를 적어 봤습니다.

 

 

꽤 많은 사람들이 유럽 여행하면서 소매치기를 당했다고 합니다. 그러고 보니, 저도 16년 전에 중국에서 스마트폰 소매치기당했던 일이 기억이 납니다. 당시에 저는 스마트 폰을 가방에 넣고 버스를 탔습니다. 제가 타고나서 두 남자가 뒤따라 올라탔는데, 바로 다음 정거장에서 내렸습니다. 그때는 ‘한 정거장인데 왜 버스를 타지?’라고 생각했습니다. 그 한 정거장이 짧았거든요. 그런데 문득 이상한 생각이 들어서 제 가방을 봤더니, 스마트 폰이 없었습니다. 그래서 알게 되었습니다. 저것들 도둑놈이구나! 우리나라에 살면서 소매치기당한 적이 한 번도 없어서 그래서 비현실적이라고 느꼈어요. 그런데 유럽에도 많다고 합니다.

생각해 보면, 외국인들이 우리나라 사람들이 휴대폰, 노트북을 그냥 커피숍에 자리 맡는 용도로 두고 화장실도 가고, 음료 주문하러 가는 것을 신기하게 생각하잖아요. 심지어 볼일을 보러 나갔다 오기도 합니다. 신기할 거 없습니다. 없어지는 게 없기 때문에 그렇게 하는 것이니까요. 그런데 지난번에 제 중국 친구가 한국에서는 택배를 문 앞에 둬도 아무도 안 가져가는 게 사실인지 물었던 걸 생각하면, 외국에서는 이게 신기한 상황인가 봅니다. 그렇지만 저는 이런 질문을 하는 게 신기했습니다. 남의 물건에 손 안 대는 건 너무 당연하니까요.

I’ve heard a quite a people talking about how they got pickpocketed while they were travelling in Europe. This reminds me of how I got pickpocketed in China 16 years ago. I put my cellphone into a front pocket of my backpack and got on a bus, and 2 guys took on that bus after me. Well If I were to guess, they were 20’s. Anyway, they just got off the bus right at the next station. I remembered thinking that they kind of wasted their bus fee, but soon I suddenly popped up some bad feeling, because they stood next to me. So, I started to check pockets including backpack. Oh, I got my cellphone stolen!! This time I realized they were thieves! I’d never got anything stolen like this, so it kind of felt like it was so unreal. And now I’ve heard that there are a lot of thieves in Europe as well.

Many foreigners are surprised at how Korean people usually use their cellphone or laptop to save their seats at a coffee shop and just go to a bathroom or go downstairs to order drinks in Korea. We even sometimes leave the stuff there and go out to do our personal errands. I don’t know, we always do it just because we never lose anything at a public place like this. But thinking that one of my Chinese friend asked me if Korean people really let the driver put their deliveries at the gate when they cannot receive them, our culture probably make them feel very much surprised. But I was shocked when my friend asked it to me, because it is so natural to keep your hands off other’s stuffs.

 

후기 : 이번에도 스펠링 기억 안 나 찾아보고, 단어 생각 안 나 찾아보느라 처음 완료까지 20분이나 걸렸네요. 6~7분으로 타이머 하라고 우리 유튜버 강사인 빨모쌤께서 말씀하셨는데… 다 쓰고 나서 고치라고 하셨는데 ㅠ..... 자꾸 돌아보게 되네요. 돌아보고 고치고 또 고치고 해도 틀린 게 더 많을 거라는 예상 하면서도 계속 이러고 있습니다. 세 번째 일기를 쓸 때는 뒤들 돌아보지 않고 10분 내에 첫 완료를 했으면 좋겠습니다. 이것도 연습하다 보면 이렇게 뒤로 안 가는 날이 있겠죠 ㅠ. 타이머 맞추고 영어일기 쓰기는 제게 첨삭 선생님 없지만, 계속 일정하게 취미로 가져가 보려고 합니다.
